March Sew Along
Every Saturday our guild has a zoom sewing day and once a month a sew along project. The March project was a clover mug rug or miniature quilt using the pattern from www.thesplendidsampler.com/2017/03/16/bonus-block-little-clover/ Below are some of the completed projects our guild members created.
April Guild Meeting
The speaker at our next meeting, April 13th, is Krista Hennebury. She will be giving a zoom presentation on Aurifilosophy, the origin, history, production and use of all Aurifil threads.

Our March 9th guild meeting was held via zoom. Our speaker for the evening was Sonya Oblak and our members enjoyed listening to her process of finding thrifted fabrics; what and where to look for fabrics suitable for quilting. We enjoyed the many photos of her projects.

Sonya started quilting 23 years ago. She now loves to design and create one of a kind quilts, often using thrifted fabrics, especially linen. When she’s not in her studio, you can find her enjoying all that the Yukon outdoors provides: open space, peace, tranquility, and lots and lots of inspiration.
Ridge Meadows Quilters’ Facebook Group
RMQG Facebook group is a place for conversations, sharing of projects and patterns, and asking for advice. The group is restricted to Guild members and cannot be seen past the basics on the opening screen by anyone who is not a member. That means that our conversations and images are private within the group. A person has to apply to join. Once they click on “Join”, a message goes to the 3 admins [same as for the page] and if the person is a member they are added to the group.
